What does “high temperature” mean?
When you are attempting to make a Bose condensation at less than a millionth of a degree, liquid helium at 4 K would be called hot. When you are calculating conditions a few minutes after the Big Bang, a temperature of a billion degrees Kelvin would be called cool.
An important insight: Nothing that has units can be said to be big or small! Things that have units need to be compared to a “normal state” before they can be declared big or small.
Here the normal state refers to conditions allowing normal solids and liquids to exist. Tungsten, which is commonly used in the filaments of light bulbs, melts at about 3700 K; Carbon does a bit better: 3800 K.
The “surface” of the Sun at 6000 K has no solid bits. At temperatures of about 5000 K most molecules have decomposed into elements which in turn have partially “ionized”: ejecting one or more electrons to leave a positively charged core (an ion) and free electrons.
I’ll pick 5000 K as my comparison point for “hot”, but of course some elements (e.g., sodium) begin to ionize a lower temperatures, and others (e.g., helium) ionize at higher temperatures. The key factor determining the ionized fraction in the Saha equation is the “first ionization energy”.
Because of the bend in The Curve of Blinding Energy 6 , the lowest energy nuclei are of middle mass (e.g., 56Fe). Thus nuclear energy can be released by breaking apart big nuclei (like 235U and 239Pu): fission as in the mis-named atomic bomb or by combining small nuclei (like 2H deuterium and 3H tritium): fusion as in the hydrogen bomb. In 1943 Edward Teller and Stanislaw Ulam started theoretical work on bombs based on thermonuclear fusion then called “super” bombs. The end of WWII slowed all bomb work, but the explosion of the first Russian atomic bomb, “Joe 1”, in 1949, rekindled U.S. bomb work.

If a person is seriously injured, Scientifically Literate persons will call Emergency Medical Services (EMS), not a magician, to transport the patient for trauma therapy to a hospital with credentialed Doctors because Scientifically Literate Humans trust, have faith-in and are certain about the science of hospitals and medical doctors. Concomitantly, Scientifically Literate Christians and most other believers, will pray to God, because of the same trust, faith and certainty.
Scientifically Literate persons and most other common sense Humans do not have trust, faith and certainty in magical medical and superstitious treatments and do not rely on a 'magical savior', steeped in the supernatural and superstition, under those circumstances.
According to scientists, modern neurology research reveals that prayer and spiritual consultation are important adjunct therapy for sickness, injury and death, but not the first line of defense. Most doctors and scientists have trust, faith and certainty in God, not magicians, mysterious and supernatural ghosts.
For example, The "Holy Ghost" was first recorded biblically in Mat 1:18 King James version of the Holy Bible, but not in its old testament and not intended to be ghostly. Ghost is a misnomer or mistranslated. The etymology of "Holy Ghost" indicates the term should be Holy Spirit,
allegorically. The etymology follows: "Old English gāst (in the sense ‘spirit, soul’), back to Germanic origin; related to Dutch geest and German Geist . The gh- spelling occurs first in Caxton, probably influenced by Flemish gheest."
EMS, doctors and the health care community usually seek a hospital chaplain, or equivalent, for spiritual and religious intervention not a soothsayer and a sorcerer.
Scarcely ever will a CEO search for a wizard or a charmer to design a new building for an metropolitan expansion project, because humans trust and have faith in the science and mathematics of architects.
Never will a military strategist, in his or her right mind, confer with a fortune teller or shaman to calculate the trajectory of a missile during war, because humans have trust, faith and certainty in scientists and physicists.
Only by mistake will a pregnant mother consult a genie or a 'witch doctor' to deliver her baby, because humans have trust, faith and certainty in the science of obstetricians. Child birth is not like pulling a rabbit out of a hat.
Worship is a personal endeavor. Everyone is free to worship or not worship as they please. No religion has a corner on the worship of God. Therefore, scientists and all other persons don’t have to rely on a superstitious, emotional magician to conduct religious or spiritual ceremonies and don't have to rely on the supernatural and/or paranormal, to worship God and praise Jesus for teaching the appropriate worship of God. Scientists and Doctors can become and are Christians, too, but we Scientists and Doctors' trust, faith and certainty are based on our Knowledge of our God of Truth and Science and fact based NeuroBioPhysicsological scientific evidence, and based on God’s Intelligent Design and creation of our cognitive, consciousful, Human Brain with Soul, not based on anecdotal emotional, superstitious and supernatural stories. Worship is similar to selecting a route for the travel to New York City or route for waging war. Persons can travel "by sea, land and air, with all our might and with all the strength that God can give us" [to wage war, Sir Winston Churchill] ; car, train, bus, walking, crawling, airplane or ship. As long as persons get there (to God), the travel is irrelevant and inconsequential.
Therefore, scientists don’t have to rely on a magician, the supernatural and paranormal, to worship God and praise Jesus for teaching Humans how to worship God. Scientists can be Christians, too.
Trust, Faith, Belief-in and certainty-about God are encoded, genetic and inherited and therefore arise naturally, innately and spontaneously within Human Brain and Minds' Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology.

The principle written word in the Christian Churches for approximately 1000 years following the Nicene Creed adoption was Catholic Latin in the West and Orthodox Christian Greek in the East in Antioch, Alexandria, Constantinople, Cyprus, Ethiopia, India, Syria, Armenia, Asia and other Eastern churches. Christian religions continue to explain creation, the meaning, purpose, reasons and point of life and the hereafter, philosophically and non-scientifically, as was fabled 1,691 years ago by Constantine and the Nicene Council. Traditional religions have commendably maintained and nourished their congregates, concerning belief in God and the boundaries and guidelines for individual conduct.
After that, science, a discipline unknown to Jesus, Constantine and faith healers was born.

In 1915, (1915 AD, 101 years ago), Albert Einstein began the explanation of E = mc² and began the explanations of the scientific formulas for a demystified Genesis, creation, the meaning, purpose, reasons and point of all universal physical and energy existences, including human life, and predicted the latest scientific finding, gravitational waves.
