‘STRONG MEAT’ FOR DISCERNMENT

CHRISTIANITY AND WORLD RELIGIONS

The religious beliefs of almost all of the world's people can be grouped into 4 categories, monotheists, reincarnationists, folk religions, and the unaffiliated.

The largest are the monotheists, who worship the God of Abraham. These are the Jews, Christians, and the Muslims, and perhaps some other smaller groups. The Abrahamic monotheists are about 55 % of the world's population and that percentage is increasing because of Islam's growth.

World’s Christians are 32%, Muslims 23%, and the world’s total population of Jews is 0.195%, which is ~ 15 Million of the total world 7.7 Billion population. [DellaPergola, Sergio (2015).

Dashefsky, Arnold; Sheskin, Ira (eds.)."World Jewish Population, 2015". Current Jewish Population Reports. The American Jewish Yearbook (Dordrecht: Springer). 115: 273–364. Retrieved 19 November 2016].

In demographics, the world population is the total number of humans currently living, and is estimated to be 7.7 Billion, (7,700,000,000) people in April 2019. ["World Population Clock: 7.7 Billion People (2019) - Worldometers". www.worldometers.info. Retrieved April 27, 2019.]

Christians are the largest portion of this group and the largest faith, with a little less than 1/3 (32%) of the world's population. Christianity is roughly holding its own as a portion of the world's population. At both the beginning and the end of the 20thCentury Christians were about 1/3 of the human race.

84% of the world's population is affiliated with one of the 5 largest religion groups, namely Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism or forms of folk religions.[10]

Therefore 55% of the world's population believe God Exists, but He is hidden, obscure, veiled or the Human visual spectrum is not capable of visualizing God in His form. 55% of the world's population don’t believe God does not exist or He exists but in our Universe, but is not visible. [Pew Research Center]

What is the neurological science for religiousness, spirituality, belief-of, obedience-to, righteousness and worship of God? The Dopamine-Reward system is fundamental in that neurological science. God and Eternity are Human rewards.

Hard working, determined, ambitious people are motivated and rewarded for their labors. The religiousness, spirituality, belief-of, obedience-to, righteousness and worship of God are willful.

The Human Brain Motivation NeuroNetwork stimulates willfulness. Dopamine neurotransmitters sparks motivation.

For The Human Brain Motivation NeuroNetwork, specifically, it matters which pathway dopamine takes. The Mesolimbic Pathway, which comes from the middle of the brain and branches to various places like the Cerebral Cortex, is the most important reward pathway in the brain.

One of the Mesolimbic stops is the Nucleus Accumbens. When dopamine in the Nucleus Accumbens has been stimulated, it triggers feedback for predicting rewards. Essentially, the Human brain recognizes that something important is about to happen, so dopamine kicks in. Rewards spark the feel good mechanism i.e. Pavlo’s dogs. [Your Brain on Dopamine: The Science of Motivation, April 9, 2019 by Kevan Lee  originally December of 2013, updated for by Willa Rubin in 2017 and again in 2019, I Done This Blog, The Science of Small Wins,  The Science of Productivity » Your Brain on Dopamine: The Science of Motivation, Your Brain on Dopamine: The Science]

Motivation is fundamental to the Dopamine Neurochemical-Reward System, which is a basic mechanism for religiousness, spirituality, belief-of, obedience-to, righteousness and worship of God neurological science.

For activation of the Dopamine Neurochemical-Reward System for religiousness, spirituality, belief-of, obedience-to, righteousness and worship of God, Scientifically Literate Christian discernment is more compelling, confident stimuli, than mysterious, supernatural questions and fear of the devil, which are mothers’ milk motivations for Constantine beginners’ Christianity.

However, both stimuli for Christian religiousness, spirituality, belief-of, obedience-to, righteousness and worship of God are equally significant and important God, but more important to Neuroplasticity of the individual’s push-pull-cybernetics.

Christian conversion is “the adoption of new Christian religious beliefs in God. It involves and requires internalization of the new belief system.”

For Christian conversion, judgment approves the faith, hope, love and total philosophy of Jesus, and subscribe to them as most righteous and reasonable.

The desire is to know the whole mind of Jesus; the free and willful choice of the Human mind is determined byr the ways of Jesus, not the pleasures of sin, and materiality of the world and the daily care of life to walk with God. [Joseph Alleine, p. 162., Dictionary of Burning Words by many brilliant authors (1895)]

Conversion by the Holy Spirit is a spiritual illumination of the Soul. God's grace lights up the dark heart. And when a man has once been kindled at the cross of Christ, he is bound to shine. [Theodore L. Cuyler, p. 163. Dictionary of Burning Words by many brilliant authors (1895)]

‘STRONG MEAT’ FOR DISCERNMENT

Out of respect for God, SCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS do not recognize and promote the prefered proper title  names for organizations of Godlessness and Disbelief in the existence of God.  However, to be sure,  the membership in those so-called organizaions for the Godlessness and Disbelief in the existence of God is increasing.

Our world, universe and Human existence cannot afford to suffer the loss of scientists, medical scientists and others so inclined to those groups who have unnecessarily and disastrously announced their disassociation with God and Creation.

Therefore this research reporter must advocate assertively the alternate allegorical interpretations of the Jesus story. which are the 'Strong Meat of Christiahn Discernment' and Truth”, for the sake of disbelievers of the literal Jesus story, that coerces them to  Godlessness and Disbelief in the existence of God.  In doing so, this research reporter must prove the truth.  (IMHMSO) In my (and numerous others) humble medical and scientific opinions.

The parable, John 8:32 KJV of the Holy Bible, was about truth, which is timely now,  proposed then by our wise Jesus, whom SCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS praise for teaching Humans how to worship our God, but who was not believed to be God in the flesh:    “The truth will set you free.” The truth is that the more reasonable, rational, believable, natural and scientific explanation about the story of Jesus is ‘Spiritual Freedom’.

Just as the Roman Empire Rule and Religions during the Jesus Era were, ‘Constantine and Nicene Council Christianity’ were/are an interim, supernatural Jesus story that has been a bondage. Now, it is ‘High Time’ forSCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS and others so inclined to be set free.  Science and medicine now have more truth, facts and evidence for the real, proven Creation Research Results and the story about the Messiah Jesus. https://www.gotquestions.org/the-truth-will-set-you-free.html

Like biblical questions during the time of Jesus, a young medical student asked this research reporter to help him understand the confusion he experienced when he imagined in his mind that the 2 accomplished women engineer astronauts, “Anne McClain and Christine Koch, aboard the International Space Station, are about to set a record astronomical achievement for women.”

“On March 29, 2019 in the wake of International Women’s Day and in perfect synchronization with Women’s History, astronomically and scientifically dressed and equipped to the 9’s, they are scheduled to perform NASA’s first-ever spacewalk that features only women. ”This is extremely amazing and progressive news, for our time. [2 female astronauts set for first all-women spacewalk in history, by Sarah Beck March 7, 2019, Fox32]

The young medical student had been instructed in Bible School about the 'Rapture'. So he continued and then said “he imagined in his Mind, if somewhere along the way out in space, after the trumpet sounded for the Rapture, these 2 spectacular women astronauts by chance passed the ‘Second Coming of Jesus Christ and angels with wings and all the changed and raised dead Humans, were seen passing by them, flying in the clouds, (in outer space, while not astronautically uniformed and not equipped for the cosmos), but were to meet the Lord in the air.”

He stated that “all born again Christians will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and said the Bible tells us that all born again Christians mortal bodies will be made alive if they have God’s spirit living in them.” He had always been perplexed by this second coming. His study of biology and medicine conflicted greatly with the 'Rapture'. What would he advise his sick patients about the 'Rapture'? His 'Oath of Hippocrates' also describes his duty to his patients. He also took an oath when he was baptized. These 2 oaths appeared conflictual. He questioned, "am I confronted with two irreconcilable demands." He had read non-sensical reports about religion and science differences being irreconcilable.  How can bias interfear with reconciliation?

This research reporter was astonished at the comparison the medical student’s imagination had drawn from his Bible School lessons and had described and pictured for this research reporter to see and compare. He wanted this research reporter to explain the validity of both happenings.

This is where the ‘rubber meets the road’ for this reporter. Never had this reporter imagined such a conflictual story. Astrauanuts space walk is difficult enough, but how will a doctor explain the resurrection from the dead of Jesus and the 'Rapture'?

  • These are the points.
  • to begin the 'Rapture' is not a word not in the Holy Bible
  • Christians say it is a 'doctrine' taught for hundreds of years.
  • In other words, the 'Rapture' is an abstract religious literal meme
  • a mental thought without any proof, not even in the KJV of the Holy Bible
  • The 'Rapture' and all supernatural, mysterious events which have been taught (literal memes)to Christian beginners for about hundreds of years should be scientifically and truthy evaluated and explained for the young medical student to understand.
  • A literal meme is "an element of a culture or system of behavior that may be considered to be passed from one individual to another by nongenetic means and imitation." [Tech Terms, Computer Dictionary]
  • For Humans not scientifically inclined, science might be confusing.

Suggested Rapture scriptures: (Matthew 24:36) (Acts 1:6) (Acts 1:7) (Matthew 24: 29-31, 42-43) (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) (1 Thessalonians 5:1-5) (Romans 8:11) (Revelation 14:14-20) [When Is The Rapture, Irvin Baxter, EndTime Ministries]

In this reporter’s context, but stated by the referenced author in another context, “this is not the time to emphasize only the parts of the Bible we like, to make us feel good. This is the time for us to make sure that our lives are in line with all the teachings of God’s Word. If ever there were a time to walk closely to God, this is the time.” This research reporter agrees, but in a different context, the truth.

The facts appear to be that Jesus cannot stand alone, by himself in the Holy Scriptures without the presence and worship of God, but God can stand alone by himself in the Holy Scriptures without the presence and worship of Jesus. The worship of God stood alone in the Old Testament. Why else would Christians revere and study the Old Testament and Judeo-Christianity; both are indelibly linked . "Given the Bible’s insistence that worship is to be directed to God alone, any God-fearing individual will need a satisfactory answer to this all-important question., why is Jesus worshipped?

John 1:1 King James Version of the Holy Bible: "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. When this research reporter reads John 1:1, The Word(s) are commandments and rules from God concluded allegorically. Our God is respecfully capitalized because God is our specific Diety's Name; a proper noun; a respectful Name for our one-and-only specific Deity, God.

The names of things that are ordinary or familiar like 'word' in the above scripture are common nouns and don't require capitalization but can be capitalized in the Bible to emphasize the zwig of its origin; the Word represents commandments and rules from God, but capitalization of Word isn't a rule of grammar. KJV Bible interpreters and teachers conveniently replaced (said again, Bible interpreters and teachers conveniently replaced) in John 1:1 the 3rd 'Word', a common noun, capitalized for emphasis of the origin of the commandments and rules from God, with the specific proper noun, Jesus, to read or sound-like 'Jesus was God', is deceitfully unholy, in the opinion of this reporter and many others. Constantine and the Nicene Council were determined to promote the Trinity; Constantine Christianity was the product. 'Jesus was God' is a stretch of God-fearlessness.

Jesus Christ was Jesus the anointed or Jesus the messiah. Jesus was not God according the King James Version of the Holy bible. That mistake is an either a blunderous mistake or an unholy grammatical deception. Apostle Thomas Didymus was teaching the duplicity of Jesus. Jesus was a man of human flesh and affiliated with the Word of God, or son of God; a human being combined in a perfect union with the Word of God, coupled together by Thomas and others allegorically as twins.

Repeating, Jesus was a Human and the son of man, the son of the Humans, Joseph and Mary. The Word of God, His commandments and moral rules, His philosophy and creed, were the non-Human son of God, the allegorical non-Human twin of Jesus. [SCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS]

The duplicity or twin of Jesus was a purified, perfected human philosophy comprised of holiness, wisdom, justice, love, tolerance, goodness and service to God, following the word, commandments and rules of God, which were not God, but became Holy authority, Christianity, representing God.

One seed of David, the twin, Jesus, was a normal natural human birth by Mary, fathered by Joseph the carpenter and the other seed a virgin birth, that required no fertilization, because the Father of the Word of God was in Heaven. The virgin birth attributed to Mary was the birth of the Word of God.

The Aramaic translation of Christos means anointed with the Word of God. Christ is the English term for the Greek Χριστός (khristos) meaning "the anointed". In the (Greek) Septuagint version of the Old Testament, khristos was used to translate the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ (Mašíaḥ,) (Messiah), meaning "[one who is] anointed." [Etymology].

Students must read the Book of John, chapter 1 and focus on the following and similar definitions and scriptures in other chapters. These are only a few of the scriptures that denote the same meanings:

  • Jesus was distinguished as the Jesus who was called the Christ. There were many named Jesus during that time but only one was singled out as the one called the Christ.
  • He was the only Jesus, during that time, who was anointed with the Word of God by God.
  • Christ occurs 571 times in 532 verses in the KJV.
  • Jesus occurs 983 times in 942 verses in the KJV
  • Jesus AND Christ occur together in 258 verses in the KJV 1

  • John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
  • John 1:41 He (Andrew) first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
  • John 1:42 And he brought him to Jesus
  • John 1:45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

Andrew told Simon Peter. Philip told Nathanael that Jesus is the "Messiah," the One" described in Hebrew Scriptures. For centuries, they waited for the "Messiah," the "Anointed One." This person was supposed to rescue Israel from her enemies, and lead, free, and glorify them. Instead Jesus was rejected.

This is the time to ‘separate the wheat from the chaff’ and separate and distinguish truthful, valued, important SCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS for the Discerned Christian, from supernatural and mythical Jesus stories designed for the beginning Christians, designed to fear them into believing and worshiping Jesus. SCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS perform their duty and praise our hero Jesus for teaching Humans how to worship our God who Created the Universe 13.8 Billion years ago. Jesus was born about 2000 yeas ago.

Apostle Thomas didymus (died in 72 AD), who proved Jesus was alive with his finger inserted into the side of Jesus, who was the only scientist in the New Testament, whose gospels were not published in the Constantine / Nicene Council Bible, described an explanation to the virgin birth, to satisfy the skeptics of that time, that Jesus was born in pure perfect union with the word of God. Jesus and the word were a twin birth. Jesus the seed of David, son of man, Joseph and Mary, was a real Human with remarkable faith and belief in God, a messiah who taught the word. The word, a virgin birth, required no copulation, sexual intercourse, prior to birth alongside Jesus, whose life in-utero began with fertilization. The etymology of Didymus derives from the Greek word for twin, the mystery of his name revealed.

"In an influential book 'Kyrios Christos'  by Wilhelm Bousset 1970 took this view, contending that this was the form of Christian faith that the apostle Paul was introduced to after his “conversion,” typically dated ca. 30-35 C.E. But Bousset also insisted that this treatment of Jesus as divine Kyrios couldn’t have happened in a thoroughly Jewish context (in which monotheistic concerns dominated), and so he placed the development in diaspora sites such as Antioch and/or Damascus (in Syria), where, he posited, pagan models of the divinization of heroes could have been influential." [ Larry W. Hurtado Emeritus Professor, University of Edinburgh, emeritus professor of New Testament Language, Literature & Theology in the University of Edinburgh.]

Roman Empire Christianisation involved vulnerable, rural pagan (pagan conversion is a good thing) conquer and triumph. However, worship of any divinity other than God alone is not a good thing.

  • Newborn babes are not born with discernment; which evolves from maturity, intelligence, experience,      education.
  • Rural, vulnerable pagan (conversion a good thing) were not capable of discernment; only the 'milk' for new born
  • Beginning Christians and/or mature Christians with ‘strong meat’, discernment, begin at every conceivable age and milestone.
  • Mature Christians (1 Th 5:21) must “Prove all things within their capacity and hold tight those things that are good.”
  • SCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS, facts and evidence-based truth, are the capacity of scientists, doctors and those so inclined, some mature, but not all.
  • Mature Christians (Romans 12:2 should not be conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of their mind, that ye may prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, according to the will of God.
  • (1 Corinthians 14:33) For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
  • (Philippians 1:9)  And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
  • (Philippians 1:10) That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of you receive the Word.
  • (Hebrews 5:14) But ‘strong meat’belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
  • False prophets seek the worship-of and obedience-to divinitties other than our God alone.

The political entity names varied from the Roman Empire church, Eastern and Western Christendom, east and West Roman Empire, kingdoms (of Germany , Italy, Bohemia and Burgundy) the Holy Roman Empire and many, many other names, depending on geographical, religious and governmental changes.

After the crucifixion of Jesus, The Roman Empire for many centuries pursued as a Single political entity with the Roman Christian Church and Roman Empire as the leading institutions and the Pope and Emperor, or variant titles thereof, their leaders respectively. Constantine’s bible canonization 325 AD was the pinnacle. The Trinity, God (Father), Jesus (son) and the Holy Spirit were the 3 image-god.

This research reporter explained to the medical student that Constantine’s Roman Empire and Christianity were under increased pressure in about 300 AD. The Roman Empire was taking on innumerable immigrants and battles from all border sides.  In 301 AD, Armenia was the first nation to accept Christianity.  Constantine I died in 306 AD, Rome was destabilized. Constantine II and the Roman Empire were under siege and sieged others repeatedly, relentlessly during and after the Holy Bible canonization 325 AD. The embattled Constantine II died in 337 and more Constantine sons succeeded his death. More embattlements and literal Christianity continued.(See The Late Roman Timeline)

An all encompassing Christian Religion comprised of Christians, Jews, Greeks, Gentiles, sun-worshipers, Islamic and others was a possible Roman Empire ‘salvation’. The Roman Empire senators exchanged their togas for Christian frocks, Constantine became the first Pope, he canonized the first bible in 325 AD, he and the Nicene Council decided on a Trinity like the sun-worship god, supernatural events and the Catholic Church was born, which held the Empire together awhile longer.

Constantine Christianity was traditional, customary, convenient and legal.  Yes, leagal.  At that point no universally sanctioned Scriptures or Christian Bible existed. The Council of Nicaea and Roman Emperor Constantine met in 325 C.E. to establish a unified Catholic Church.  Various churches and officials adopted different texts and gospels.  That’s why the Council of Hippo sanctioned 27 books for the New Testament in 393 C.E. Four years later the Council of Cartage confirmed the same 27 books as the authoritative Scriptures of the Church.  Self research and instruction were nearly impossible.

"Wouldn’t you assume that the newly established Church would want its devotees to immerse themselves in the sanctioned New Testament, especially since the Church went to great lengths to eliminate competing Gospels?  And wouldn’t the best way of spreading the “good news” be to ensure that every Christian had direct access to the Bible?  That’s not what happened. The Church actually discouraged the populace from reading the Bible on their own, a policy that intensified through the Middle Ages and later, with the addition of a prohibition forbidding translation of the Bible into native languages." The Roman populace would have required ingenuity and impossible, illegal efforts to immerse theselves in religious freedom. But they were denied.

The Constantine Christian Religion did not fall with the fall of the deaths of the Constantines and the Roman Empire. The Roman Catholic original doctrines, 'Pure Spiritual Milk' for beginners, remained and set the tone for new civilizations and Christianisations for years thereafter.  [Why Christians Were Denied Access to Their Bible for 1,000 Years by Bernard Starr, Contributor College Professor (Emeritus, City University of N.Y),psychologist, journalist, Huffington Post, 05/20/2013

"Pontifex Maximus or pontifex maximus (Latin, "greatest priest"[1][2][3]) was the chief high priest of the College of Pontiffs (Collegium Pontificum) in ancient Rome.  The title of "Pontifex Maximus" was applied within the Catholic Church to the Pope as its chief bishop  The pontifices were the ones who smoothed the "bridge" between gods and men."[12])

Pagans were Christianized to prevent the ‘Devil gonna get you’, ‘you’ll burn in hell’ and feared the pagans and disenfranchised into believing in God. Quick believers, were ‘conquered’ and the Roman Empire once again triumphed’. Most pagans and rural European were converted and remained sequestered in the immature stage of the beginners Constantine Christian religion. Any divinity worship other than our God alone is not a good thing.

The Holy Bible, with mature allegorical interpretations, is the spiritual text of SCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS and the beginning text with literal interpretations of the beginning Christian. SCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS is ‘strong meat’; for the strong, spiritually mature, with fresh interpretation of difficult, ambiguous, supernatural doctrines suitable for scientists, doctors and others inclined mature with the ability to discern complicated information. SCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS is not fundamental doctrine ‘milk’ for new believers, beginning Christian growth and development, rules for every day living, and/or bible study.

To the learned, discerning medical student, seeking fresh interpretation, and eager for the Word of God and Christian participation, but conflicted and confused with his beginning Christian instruction, this research reporter explained that at this stage of his life his explanations are allowed change to suit his station in life, truthful therapy of his patients and instruction of others so inclined.

This research reporter explained to the medical student that God provides each ladder rung, each milestone, and purpose, along the way when climbing the ladder of Christianity. Beginning Christians start at the bottom of the ladder and require emotional insurgence, hyperbolic sermons to grab the attention of beginners and literal interpretations of the Holy Bible. "The high regard for religious scriptures in the Judeo-Christian tradition seems to relate in part to a process of canonization of the Hebrew Bible,

The highly regarded literal written word in the Hebrew Bible represented a direct conduit to the mind of God." Literal interpretation is more than any other reason, a Judeo-Christian Tradition. Detailed numbers, dates and events appear out of sink with the science of Creation. [McDonald & Sanders, ed., The Canon Debate page 4]

In science and medicine Occam's Razoor and 'when you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras. The simplist, most obvious conclusion or diagnosis is usually the most accurate and  at the same time, the least expensive answer. In other words, the Kiss Method; keep it simple stupid is ususlly the most efficacious. Why confuse our God's idenity with another person or group's identity, Jesus is God, unless control, power, conquest, triumph and wealth of all the constituients in the Roman Empire and world are the motives. Constitine transformed the Roman Empire to the Holy Roman Empire of God, not the plan of Jesus and the early Christians.

Then it dawned on the medical student, the difference in the intersection of the 2 scenarios is:  On the one hand, there is the knowledge and science that the women astronauts practice and train for their soon walk and suspension in space, which is a  spectacular undertaking, while also realizing the lack of science during the Jesus Era, 2015 years ago, and science is celebrating its 519th birthday, since the Scientific Revolution which began in ~1500 AD. Our knowledge of astrophysics and cosmology have a short history, considering our Universe began 13.8 billion years ago.

The medical student was beginning to understand the scientific evidence for God's presence in Neuronetworks of the living Human Brain and Soul and these were contrasted with the absence of scientific evidence for the supernatural and mystified life of Jesus, who is our hero, but not our God and whom we praise for teaching us how to worship God, teach obedience and righteousness, faith, hope and love.

He realized the difference in the remarkable sacrifice and altruistic crucifixion, suffering and death of Jesus, suspended in air, when nailed to the cross, for the atonement, pardoning of Human sins, reconciliation of Humans with God which the beginning of organized Christian religion soon after, very much unlike the 2 women astronauts will be tethered to a life providing  capsule,

Understanding the contrast and difference in the spacewalk and the Rapture is the level of ascent up the ladder of Christianity, the difference in maturity, intelligence, experience and education and the difference in excellence in Discernment ability; eliminating uncertainty and doubtfulness associated with the literal  memes of myth, mystery and the supernatural life of Jesus. ["Atonement." Cross, F. L., ed. The Oxford dictionary of the Christian church. New York: Oxford University Press. 2005]

God allows for Christian beginning, learning and enlightenment and later mature Christian Discernment and doing the truth following learning and enlightenment; not just window dressing praise and worship, "creating a deceptively favorable or attractive impression, to others" [Merriam-Webster]; favorable appearance in the eyes of other Christians.  From the fundamental emotional phase of 'milk' for new Christian believers to the 'Strong Meat of Christiahn Discernment' and Truth” is a natural progression recognized by our Creator.

Excellent ministers can preach emotional babes to the alter and conversion, a great result. However, Adjustment Reactions to Life, Tragedy, Chaos and Heartache on the one hand or contentment on the other, often render youthful and new adult Christian believers stuck in the fundamental emotional phase of 'Pure Spiritual Milk' [ 1 Peter 2:2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation ...]  Adjustment Reactions are precipitated by the following examples:  parental drug addiction and alcoholism, death and grief for a loved-one, emergencies that call for immediate, extreme Spiritual and Medical reactions, which are reasured by 'Pure Spiritual Milk' and reinforced with literal memes, the Rapture, Hell fire and Damnation, stern customs, accepted as normal, which  carry victims and families through the tough times, surrounded by security, safety and dependability, not unfamiliarity. [Reference Nurse TJM]

"This is how Peter tells believers they should act towards the word of God in 1 Peter 2:2. "Newborn instinctively need their mother’s milk with the fuel to live, essential nutrients, strength, customs, psychological stability, warmth and love. [What Does It Mean to “Crave Pure Spiritual Milk”? Grow Closer to God by Never “Outgrowing” His Word, by Mark Ballenger, 2019, AGW]

Amazing grace, mercy, Creation, science and medicine are blessed and bestowed by God.  Believing that Spiritual Brain growth should be directed other than to our God, but directed toward the literal  memes of myth, mystery and the supernatural life of Jesus throughout an individual believer’s lifetime is Amazing shallowness. Temporary 'Pure Spiritual Milk' for beginning believers and their persuasive ministers prepared with their professional teachings, are realistic and customary. Legitimate  'Strong Meat of Christiahn Discernment' and Truth”, should be the view of mature mindful Christians, scientists and doctors, particularly in light of recent scientific research, providing that transformation from the beginner stage is not prevented, while doing life.

There was much more for the inquisitive medical student to learn. Neurotheology and Neuroplasticity investigations reveal the Human Brain grows and flourishes when believing-in and worshiping God spiritually, meditatively and religiously. The bridge from spirituality, meditation, and relgion to scinece is long and complicated.“ It seems that the brain is built in such a way that allows us as human beings to have transcendent experiences easily, furthering our belief in a greater power,” Newberg says. This would explain why some type of religion exists in every culture, arguably making spirituality one of the defining characteristics of our species.” [‘How God Changes Your Brain’ by Dr. Andrew Newberg]

Graham Ward, Regius Professor of Divinity at Oxford University and author of the forthcoming ‘Unbelievable: Why We Believe and Why We Don’t’, agrees that it is imperative to examine religion scientifically. “Religion is at the root both of so many great civilizations and of so many wars, it has so much mythological power, we have to understand how it works.”

“According to US molecular geneticist Dr Dean Hamer, subjects in his research with this “God gene” (VMAT2),  were more susceptible to self-transcendent, spiritual experiences. Many neuroscientists now think spiritual tendencies involve genes relating to the brain’s dopamine and serotonin neurotransmitters.

“Reports have shown that churchgoers live an average 7 years longer than heathens. They report lower blood pressure, recover quicker from breast cancer, have better outcomes from coronary disease and rheumatoid arthritis, have greater success with IVF and are less likely to have children with meningitis.

“Patients with a strong “intrinsic faith” (a deep personal belief, not just a social inclination to go to a place of worship) recover 70 per cent faster from depression than those who are not deeply religious. “Religious activities enhance the prefrontal lobes, which helps inhibit impulses better,” says Patrick McNamara, associate professor of neurology at Boston University and author of The Neuroscience of Religious Experience and continued, “such as prayer, ritual, abstaining from alcohol, strengthen the ability of frontal lobes to control primitive impulses.”

“Such advantages aside, religions give their followers the benefits of a supportive social network – since research has shown lack of social contact can be more harmful to health than obesity, alcoholism and smoking 15 cigarettes a day. “Being part of a group is very important psychologically. In times of prosperity, people tend to question large movements, but during periods of economic stress, fundamentalist movements flourish,” says McNamara.

“Sceptics used to consider such fields flaky, but now their health benefits are proven – not least in the way they strengthen prefrontal lobes – it would be foolish to dismiss them. [What God does to your brain, by Julia Llewellyn Smith, 20 Jun 2014, The Telegraph]

“Is the human predisposition to religion cultural or biologic? Studies suggest that activation of certain cerebral networks spanning the frontal, parietal, and temporal lobes are associated with spiritual states.  “Thus, damage to these areas should alter some of these feelings, including self-transcendence. Transcendence refers to the ability to detach one's consciousness from the physical body, a type of spiritual experience. Transcendence is common to all faiths and is part of the so-called “religious state.”

“Spiritual experiences are as common today as in the past. Catholic nuns and Buddhist monks undergoing functional MR imaging (fMRI) during introspection showed changes in the prefrontal, cingulated cortex, temporal and parietal lobes, and in some subcortical areas. 4–8

“The activity of the serotonin brain system is probably genetically determined and is linked to varying degrees of self-transcendence and religious or spiritual experiences. 9

“Urgesi et al 10  found nearly 90 patients with different brain tumors (high- and low-grade gliomas, meningiomas) when posterior areas of the brain were removed, a significant and reliable increase in self-transcendence occurred. This change happened very soon after surgery and therefore was not considered an adaptive process.

“In a different study, 12 patients (6 religious) were evaluated with positron-emission tomography imaging while praying. 10 From memory, they recited Psalm 23 while undergoing cerebral blood flow studies. In this study, all religious subjects reported having attained a “religious state” during recitation and showed significantly increased blood flow to the right dorsolateral prefrontal cortex.

This contradicts the common belief that it is mainly the limbic system that is associated with faith beliefs. Religious beliefs may be a cognitive process mediated by pre-established neural circuits, (NeuroNetworks).“Beauregard and Paquette 5 performed fMRI in a series of Carmelite nuns while they reported being in a state of union with God. The Carmelite Sisters are the counterpart of the Carmelite Brothers, and both groups follow very strict dietary and religious beliefs and activities. The 15 Carmelites evaluated showed positive fMRI results but instead of activating only one region, 12 different regions were activated. Franciscan nuns seem to activate slightly different regions of their brains when praying. 11

“In both groups, the pre- and inferior-frontal regions were active during the tasks performed.

“Sigmund Freud dismissed spiritual experiences as pathology, but not surprisingly Carl Jung did not. The “Sacred Disease” of antiquity was refuted by Hippocrates who argued against the association of seizures and prophetic and mystical powers (for him seizures were just purely a brain dysfunction). In the New Testament, Matthew (17:14–20) witnessed Jesus curing a boy who presumably had epilepsy and this may be one source from which the association between epilepsy and religion comes.

Religion has been present throughout the history of humankind and some argue that humans should be called Homo religious rather than Homo sapiens. 13

More than one-half of American adults report a “spiritual” and life-changing experience. That includes people with many different personalities and backgrounds. Personality researchers propose 5 main dimensions of personality: extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness. These 5 traits probably define personality but need not all be present in one person. Religiousness is probably the 6th major dimension of personality. 13

Neurotheology is a new discipline that attempts to answer many of these questions with the use of functional neuroimaging and science. If the brain's serotonin system is implicated in religious experiences, can certain chemicals be used to duplicate these experiences? Some drugs, mainly LSD, mescaline, ayahuasca, and peyote, are known to have chemical features similar to serotonin and share its receptors.

The medical student was told, “It is important to bear in mind that many American academics have strong spiritual beliefs. Approximately 40% of scientists and 7% of members of the National Academy of Sciences believe in a God and nearly 40% believe in human immortality. 20

“Religiousness is probably the 6th major dimension of personality.” 13  [Sixth Dimension and God's Helmet by by M. Castillo, American Journal of Neuroradiology November 2011, 32 (10) 1767-1768; DOI: https://doi.org/10.3174/ajnr.A2433]

Following the conflicting intersection of the 2 scenarios imagined, the 2 women astronauts' space walk, passing Jesus during the Rapture, the medical student finally understood, after a period of learning medical education truths and enlightenment, he will be prepared to expertly manage and treat his patients and the medical student finally understood, after a period of learning spiritual and Jesus truths and enlightenment,

Armed with the 'Strong Meat of Christiahn Discernment' and Truth”, the medical student would be prepared to expertly manage, treat, grow Neuroplastically, his Mental Neuronetworks for Spirituality and Soul, having surpassed the fundamental period and doctrine of 'Pure Spiritual Milk' for new believers, and rejecting the literal memes of myth, mystery and the supernatural life of Jesus in literal language,  while realizing the importance of both the 'Pure Spiritual Milk' and the 'Strong Meat of Christian Discernment' for different stages of life.

The medical student also learned  that SCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS Evangelism (aka Advocacy), described in proper Christian terms,  promotes, expands and distributes the SCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS allegorical interpretations, which are a different  language, message and semantics, to research, academic and employed scientists and  doctors. Hopefully these semanics will deter the pursuit of  Godlessness and Disbelief in the existence of God by these lost professionals, who are actually eager to practice Christianity.  Many of these lost Souls were Sunday schooled as youth, but now reject the literal memes of myth, mystery and the supernatural life of Jesus. The medical student, many of us medical doctors and scientists are duty bound advocates and promote SCIENTIFICALLY LITERATE CHRISTIANS. see Dr. Hameroff describes God this website:  https://myscientistgod.us/dr-hameroff-describes-god

PERCEPTION OF PASTORS FELL TO A RECORD LOW IN 2018

"Though the Bible describes shepherds of the church as “blameless,” (Titus 1:6), “upright” (Titus 1:8), and “above reproach” (1 Tim. 3:2), Americans—even Christians—take a much more pessimistic view."

"Fewer than half of American Christians (42%) believe clergy have “high” or “very high” standards of honesty and ethics, according to breakouts provided to Christianity Today.

"Self-identified Christians were about as likely to rate clergy’s ethical standards as just average (43%), and about 1 in 10 (12%) considered them “low” or “very low.”

"Among Americans as a whole, trust in the clergy fell to 37%, making it the 8-most-trusted profession in the U.S., ranking below multiple medical professions, teachers, and police and just above journalists and building contractors.

" Over the last 40 years, Gallup has measured the country’s view of the trustworthiness of faith leaders along with a range of other professions. Clergy trust peaked in 1985, when two-thirds of Americans said clergy had a “high” or “very high” honesty and ethical standard.

That percentage hovered in the high 50s throughout the 1990s, until dropping to 52 percent in 2002 around the height of the sexual abuse scandals in the Catholic Church. Though Americans’ ratings of their clergy rallied slightly, they’ve been on a steady downward trajectory for most of the last decade.

“These latest low ratings on the clergy come on the heels of more investigations into child sex abuse by Catholic priests in the US,” state Gallup researchers. [The 7 People Christians Trust More Than Their Pastors Gallup’s latest poll finds Americans now believe clergy (at a record low) are nearly as honest and ethical as journalists (at a record high). by Griffin Paul Jackson, Jan 4, 2019   ChristianityToday.com]

This Scientific Christian reporter was trained and certified with many other doctors by C.A.R.E. in 2009 to ravel to doctors' offices and to instruct physicians and their office staff in their community based offices about how to recognize Child Abuse. C.A.R.E. is a division of Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky.  C.A.R.E. is a division of Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky.

Child Abuse Recognition Education is a very important endeavor. The mission of C.A.R.E. (Child Abuse Recognition Education) is to develop, support and grow a statewide network of doctors, key medical personnel and medical office staff who have committed themselves to ensuring the children in their communities are free from all types of abuse, including sexual abuse, and neglect, as a result of receiving office-based training from their medical peers.” [Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky, http://www.pcaky.org/care.html]

An example of supports the pessimistic view:  "An Evangelist plead guilty to all sex abuse charges in Etowah County, Alabama.  The Evangelist plead guilty to 10 different counts involving 3 victims who were between the ages of 12 and 16 at the time. At least 2 of the victims said the Evangelist offered them 100s of dollars to perform sexual acts.

"Two of the counts could bring a maximum sentence of 99 years in prison. Judge Debra Jones was prepared to have a sentencing hearing in the next 30 days.  Before the trial the Evangelist's attorney released this statement to WVTM 13's Sarah Killian:  "The  Evangelist decided he wanted to accept his responsibility for his actions and not put any of the victims through a trial.

"His strong faith has allowed him to follow this path. There are mitigating factors that we feel contributed to his actions and these will be revealed by our experts at the sentencing hearing which Judge Jones will be setting."  [Former evangelist pleads guilty to sex abuse charges in Etowah County,  Alabama Dec 2, 2019 WVTM TV 13]
