The world was flat until Galileo, a brilliant physicist, who invented the experimental method, suggested that that the Earth was not flat and our Earth circled and rotated around the sun.
Consequently, for his irreverence, Galileo was imprisoned and excommunicated from the Catholic Church by the Pope. His excommunication judgment was entered in 1633. Galileo’s excommunication was posthumously annulled only a few years ago by the Pope John Paul.[64.] In 1992, the news reported that the Catholic Church had vindicated Galileo.
The error of the theologians of the time, when they maintained the centrality of the Earth, was to think that our understanding of the physical world’s structure was, in some way, imposed by the literal sense of Sacred Scripture. Students learned in school and understand that Galileo was correct. Basic scientific facts are understood by grade school children. Times have changed. More complicated scientific facts have been discovered each day. Both scientific and non-scientific spiritual and religious students deserve the complete story. Scientific spiritual students need the facts and the evidence they can believe that complement their understanding of science. Bear in mind, not all Humans and U.S. citizens are blessed with scientific intelligence.
Traditionally, the Holy Scriptures have been interpreted by Religions to set the conditions of human life without the benefits of Science. The principles and creeds of Religions and Science have not been ‘reconciled’.
Nowadays, physics strives to set the interpretations of General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics without computations of Biological conditions of life. “The relationship between Religion and Science is the subject of continued debate in philosophy and theology. Evidence of the Soul was first discovered around 2014, 521 years after the Scientific Revolution and Copernicus.

Hameroff and Penrose believe, after death of the physical body, human consciousness lives on as the Soul, which is stored in neuron brain cells, as a packet of quantum subatomic energy.

Human dualism is the belief that Humans are comprised of 2 components, matter and energy, preferably the physical body plus the Holy Spirit and Soul.
