Dr. Norbert Wiener was the first scientist to theorize that all intelligent behavior and information in our Universe were the result of push-pull cybernetic feedback mechanisms. “Cybernetics” comes from a Greek word meaning “the art of steering”. Cybernetics is about having a goal and taking action to achieve that goal. Knowing whether you have reached your goal (or at least are getting closer to it) requires “feedback”, a concept that was made rigorous by cybernetics.
Cybernetics as a process operating in nature has been around for a long time; actually, for as long as nature has been around. Cybernetics as a concept in society has been around at least since Plato used it to refer to government.
In modern times, the term became widespread because Norbert Wiener wrote a book called “Cybernetics” in 1948. His sub-title was “control and communication in the animal and machine”.
This was important because it connects control (actions taken in hope of achieving goals) with communication (connection and information flow between the actor and the environment). A force must begin the circular feedback mechanism.
So, Wiener is pointing out that effective action requires communication. Later, Gordon Pask offered conversation as the core interaction of systems that have goals.
Wiener’s sub-title also states that both animals (biological systems) and machines (non-biological or “artificial” systems) can operate according to cybernetic principles. This was an explicit recognition that both living and non-living systems can have purpose. A scary idea in 1948.
Objects and organisms and molecules, matter, material and energy are not by themselves cognitive and informational. Objects and organisms are complex combinations of molecules, matter, material and energy that our Creator created. Proper equipment, artificial intelligence and robots might theoretically impersonate, objects and organisms, somewhat, but cannot replicate Human Brains and Minds.

Similar statements: Dr. Stuart Hameroff was invited to speak at a convention for atheists and agnostics to which he did not belong. Following comments, he also revealed that God’s ‘Interconnectedness’ has a specific home residing within each Human brain awaiting willful stimulation. When the “big bang” occurred, Higgs boson energy and Fermion particles were the beginning relic particles. Higgs Energy Field was akin to 'sticky molasses' as it amalgamated Fermion particles and mater and materialism began in the hot gas environment. “Gas is one of the most random systems known to science. “Because an isolated system, such as the universe alone, cannot generate information, the “Big Bang” and its relic particles by themselves, in the beginning, could not produce the complex, living universe we have today, which contains astronomical amounts of useful information.

"What does “high temperature” mean when attempting to make a Bose condensation at less than a millionth of a degree; liquid helium at 4 K would be called hot. When calculating conditions a few minutes after the Big Bang, a temperature of a billion degrees Kelvin would be called cool. An important insight: Nothing that has units can be said to be big or small! Things that have units need to be compared to a “normal state” before they can be declared big or small.
